World Didac Asia

    On October 10 to 12, 2018, Confucius Institute at Assumption University ( hereafter CIAU ) was invited to participate in the 2018 World Class Educational Resources, International Expo and Conference to provide participants with the opportunity to experience traditional Chinese culture. The organizer provided a free booth for CIAU. Mr. Hou Shaoyan and Mr. Lu Shanyun, famous overseas Chinese calligraphers, and Mr. Guo Yunxiang, a famous Gu Zheng performing artist, helped with the activities of CIAU.

    Accompanied by Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, President of Assumption University, Dr. Teerakiat Jareonsettasin, Minister of Education of the Kingdom of Thailand, visited the booth of CIAU and experienced Chinese calligraphy.




    Ms. Siriluk Chaiprompasit, Thai director of CIAU and Mr. Zhao Peiqin, Chinese director of CIAU, introduced CIAU’s work and CIAU’s participation in the event to Mr. Li Chunlin, Counselor and Consul General of Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Kingdom of Thailand.



    Chinese traditional culture experience activities well prepared for the exhibitors and visitors are calligraphy, Gu Zheng, paper cutting, facial masks painting, Chinese knots and traditional Chinese food making. These activities are unique in the exhibition, attracting a large number of Chinese learners and Chinese cultural enthusiasts to visit and experience. They thanked CIAU for the opportunity to get a close look at Confucius Institutes and Chinese traditional culture.







    2018 World Class Educational Resources, International Expo and Conference is a top event for educational resources in Asia, which is known for the professionalism and high quality of its visitors. More than 150 exhibitors from Asia, Europe and America, industry experts from hundreds of universities and educational institutions, and teachers and students from local schools and institutions participated in the event.
