CIAU Joins Assumption College Thonburi’s Chinese New Year Gala
On February 13, Confucius Institute at Assumption University (CIAU) was invited to attend the Chinese New Year celebration held by Assumption College Thonburi. The CIAU delegation joined students and faculty in the festive activities, sharing the joy of the Spring Festival and further enhancing cultural exchanges between the two institutions.
Vibrant Cultural Showcase
Led by Dr. Kongrit Chatipatthomrak, the Thai director, faculty members from the Confucius Institute extended warm New Year greetings and fully participated in the event. The gala featured a dynamic lion dance, recitations of classic Chinese stories, performances of Chinese songs, as well as interactive Chinese language and cultural workshops. These programs vividly demonstrated the students’ Chinese language proficiency and artistic talents in a lively and festive atmosphere.

This Spring Festival celebration has served as a vital bridge to strengthen institutional cooperation.
